Siemens and Comcell Switchboards, one of Australia’s leading manufacturer of low-voltage switchboards, signed a licence agreement on December 10, 2007 on the Siemens Sivacon Switchboard technology.
Siemens Executive General Manager Industrial Automation & Control, Bernhard Kienlein, said Siemens is delighted to partner with Comcell to provide the Australian market with type-tested Sivacon switchboards up to 6300A.
“This is a significant milestone for Siemens as we are not only able to offer the leading-edge Sivacon switchboard technology to local customers at a competitive price but also providing outstanding technical support and after-sales service,” Mr. Kienlein said.
The Sivacon switchboards from Siemens have been widely used in many industrial segments and infrastructure projects and the outstanding features of this product contribute to change the conventional concept of power distribution in industrial and commercial sectors.
The Sivacon technology meets strict international standards and Australian requirements on safety and communicable capability on entire plants, also offering high level of cost-effectiveness to customers.
